A photo essay that follows a working day of Egyptian workers in a query in the south of Jordan. Yasser and his colleagues describe their harsh working conditions as “Stones carriers” where he describes how they carry a stone that weighs around 300 kilograms on their back under the sun to make as little as 10 USDs per day. Yasser says they move around 20 to 30 tons of stones per day.
