Addictive Rooftops is an ongoing project documenting pigeon fanciers in the Al Baqaa Palestinian refugee camp, north of Amman. On the rooftops, young men gather in the afternoons, spending hours watching their pigeons circle above the camp, showing off which kasheh (group of pigeons) is the most dominant and most beautiful. Pigeon fancying is considered one of the most addictive and costly hobbies in the camp; some kasheh can be worth thousands of US dollars.
